Better get some Shiner Bocks on ice!!
Farmer Brandt is keeping the team at NPCC busy and creative this summer. Along with the normal assortment of natural goodies that show up in our bi-weekly "mystery basket", this summer we were greeted with bright orange, incendiary habanero chiles.
To meet the challenge of these nasty (yet tasty) little monsters we are proud to announce the production of "The Flaming Armadillo" Hot sauce.
We tamed the endless heat of the chiles with fresh mango, tangy tomatillos, cilantro and organically grown garlic from Cliff's Folly farm.
And as for the name? Well, even with our best efforts this sauce is still hotter than an armadillo on East Texas pavement in August. The name just seemed right.
